Enjoy a part of Sarasota’s past in this unique 4 bedroom, 3 bath home situated on a quiet dead-end street, with views of Hudson Bayou. You will appreciate this historic (built in 1923) very private abode which is walled and gated in a park-like setting. The amazing yard features lush tropical gardens with heated pool and spa.

This home offers 2 king bedroom suites each with attached bath. One on the main level and a second full suite upstairs. Two guest bedrooms and one more full bathroom complete the house making this spacious home the perfect vacation space for up to 8 people and wonderful for two families to share.

The expansive living room has polished Saltillo tiles and large glass windows that bring the tropical gardens indoors. The Ringling House is a perfectly located, historic pool home within an easy walk or bike ride to Selby Gardens, Marina Jacks, Southside village and downtown Sarasota! St Armand’s Circle, Mote Aquarium, The Big Cat Habitat & Sanctuary, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy are all at your fingertips. Lido Beach, Longboat Key and Siesta Key Beach are all between 10-15 minutes away. You will never run out of things to do when you choose the Ringling House as your home base!

A note about “hot tubs” and “spas”

Please be aware that the advertised hot tub and/or spa is a section of pool that circulates water from the pool with relaxing jets and warm temperatures. This type of hot tub is powered by an electric heater and will usually reach temps in the high 90s, or more, depending on the outside air temperature. Spas do not run continuously and may not achieve the high temps of a standalone or commercial hot tub. Spas do not heat automatically when not in use. To activate the spa and begin the heating process you must turn it on with the control panel and wait 30-45 minutes for the maximum temperature to be reached. The spa will turn off automatically but you can push the button again to reactivate it. As with all pool and spa heat, at times when the ambient temperature drops too low (50’s and 60’s) the heaters will be unable to operate. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is a residential neighborhood. We ask that you keep music to a reasonable level and refrain from music and loud noise outdoors after 10pm. Thank you!

This rental is dog friendly! A fee of $150 + tax is required in advance for each dog you are bringing.

PET POLICY:

1 dog maximum, weight limit of 75 pounds.

Due to property insurance policies and liability concerns NO dangerous breeds or aggressive animals are allowed. The following breeds (purebred or crossbred) are not permitted:

• Pit Bull

• Akita

• Rottweiler

• German Shepherd

• Siberian Husky

• Malamute

• Doberman Pinscher

• Chows

• Any Wolf-dog hybrid

• Any other dog that has been known to have bitten anyone

We do not accept reservations from any guests under the age of 25. The primary guest will be required to provide proof of age and must occupy the rental home for the duration of the reservation.

This home provides off-street parking for up to 4 vehicles.
