Anna Maria Island is a 7 mile long, Florida Gulf coast barrier island composed of (3) individual cities. The City of Anna Maria is at the North end of the island, Holmes Beach occupies the middle portion of the island, and Bradenton Beach to the South, ending at Longboat Key bridge.

While you wait for your order to be prepared you can shop for items made by local artists. It's an eclectic, quirky little place. Always a busy place but worth the wait.

Rod and Reel Pier - 875 N Shore Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216 - is at the North end of the island and has been there since the ’40s. Hurricane Irma destroyed the Anna Maria Pier which was just right around the corner but the Rod and Reel pier remained unscathed. It's a casual place for a Grouper sandwich or other fresh fish. You can also rent a pole and fish off the pier. I've been told the ​Eggs Benedict is amazing but I haven't ​tried for myself​ yet.
