Looking for the best way to celebrate the Fourth of July while you're visiting Anna Maria Island? This year is extra special as America celebrates its 250th birthday, and the Bradenton area has an incredible lineup of events leading up to and on Independence Day.

July 3: Fireworks on the Lake
Nathan Benderson Park (5851 Nathan Benderson Cir, Sarasota, FL 34235)
5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
One of the area's biggest fireworks celebrations features food trucks, a kids zone, live entertainment, a patriotic concert by The Pops Orchestra, and fireworks over the lake at approximately 9:15 PM. Arrive early, as parking fills quickly.
July 3: Bradenton Marauders Independence Day Celebration
LECOM Park (1611 9th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205)
First pitch: 6:30 PM
Celebrate America's birthday with America's pastime! Catch the Bradenton Marauders, then stick around for a spectacular postgame fireworks show.

July 4: Anna Maria Island Privateers Parade & Water Fight
Anna Maria Island
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Don't miss one of Anna Maria Island's favorite traditions. The pirate-themed parade travels from Coquina Beach to the Anna Maria City Pier, and yes... you will probably get wet! Bring a water gun and join the fun.
July 4: Downtown Bradenton Independence Day Celebration

5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, family activities, and a festive atmosphere along the Riverwalk before the evening fireworks.
July 4: Palmetto Fourth Fest

5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Across the river, Palmetto hosts live music, food vendors, a kids zone, and plenty of space to enjoy the evening festivities.
July 4: Old Main Street Celebration
Old Main Street, Bradenton
7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Continue the celebration downtown with live music, restaurants, bars, and patriotic festivities throughout Old Main Street.

July 4: Fireworks Over the Manatee River
Approximately 9:15 PM
The grand finale! Fireworks launch from the Green Bridge and can be viewed from both the Bradenton Riverwalk and Palmetto Riverfront. Plan to arrive early and expect road closures and heavy traffic.
